The Full Story

When I was in the 6th grade I made a decision that would forever change the landscape of my life. I made the transition from soccer to football, and I have never looked back. Throughout my time as a player, I developed bonds with teammates and fell deeper in love with the game. When my playing dreams came to an end after a series of injuries, coaching was next up.

As a sophomore in college, I dipped my toe into the coaching world. I started out helping out in the weight room supervising lifts and helping to lead workouts. This was only the beginning.

\

The next year as a Junior I was given the opportunity to go back and coach my former highschool team at Lexington Highschool. From there I was able to learn from veterans in the coaching industry and help shape the type of coach I wanted to be.

As a senior in college, I was given the opportunity to be a student Assistant Coach where I learned more about football in 9 months than I had in my entire life. I worked closely with the Head Coach of Ashland University, spent games in the press box sitting alongside the Offensive Coordinator, and was able to truly appreciate everything that goes into coaching.

After graduation, I started a job as an assistant athletic director in Dublin, Ohio. While I loved getting to work closely with sports, something felt like it was missing. I started a job with NCSA and currently work in the college recruiting world and was able to grow my knowledge and learn everything there is to know about recruiting. But still, something was missing... Coaching.

I decided to start Fourth Down Fundamentals as a way to fill my urge to coach, and also help out young athletes aspiring to take their skills to the next level. I am eager to get started working with young athletes and seeing them reach their full potential!
